DT9828 - Temperature Measurement over USB

The DT9828 USB DAQ module sets the accuracy benchmark for thermocouple measurements with an overall accuracy better than 0.1 K (depending on TC type).

The DT9828 offers eight differential analog inputs for thermocouple and voltage measurements and galvanic isolation up to ±500V, providing up to 600 S/s sampling, ideal for low speed signals common to temperature applications. The DT9828 features a 24-bit ADC to provide exceptional accuracy and noise performance. Eight digital I/O (4 in/4 out) are processed simultaneously.
QuickDAQ ready-to-measure application software is included and allows you to acquire, analyze, and display data.

  • Connect 8 thermocouples directly
  • Support for B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T thermocouple types

  • Cold junction compensation (CJC) circuit and open thermocouple detection
  • 24-bit A/D converter
  • 500V Galvanic Isolation from the PC
  • Input range of ±156 mV for voltage measurements
  • Use external shunt resistor (e.g. 7.5 Ω) for 20 mA current measurements
  • Four, isolated, digital inputs up to 30 VDC; you can read the status of the digital input port in the analog input stream
  • Four, isolated, open-collector digital outputs, up to 30 VDC
  • No external power supply required, just one cable for data and power
